Breast cancer survivors, community representatives, public health professionals, and healthcare providers meet monthly to plan and implement local activities in breast cancer control. Activities include community education and outreach about cancer screening, the promotion of evidence-based strategies to increase screening rates in primary care clinics, and advocating for programs and services to help survivors.
The Alliance meets the second Monday of each month from 3:30-5:00pm in room 164 at Community Action, 210 “O” Street. The Alliance Chair is Danna Bacon. For more information or to join the Alliance, contact her by clicking here.
