Every Woman Matters (EWM) is a federally-funded program that pays for office visits with associated clinical breast exams, pelvic exams, Pap tests, and lab fees. Age-appropriate mammography is also covered under the program as well as a limited number of diagnostic tests.
Women eligible for paid office visits and screening services through Every Woman Matters must meet the program’s age and income guidelines. Eligible participants cannot have insurance or be enrolled in other programs that pay for preventive care (Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance).
