Project Pink’d is a local non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting the mind, body and spirit of those diagnosed with breast cancer, ultimately focused on improving the quality of life for breast cancer survivors.
The organization’s Helping Hand program provides financial assistance to underserved survivors for things like gas or bus cards for transportation to/from and treatment, child care while receiving treatment, utility bills, and prescription and over-the-counter medications. The Pink’d Renewal program provides financial assistance for holistic programs, counseling sessions, fitness programs, and survivor treatment retreats/spa day experiences. The Pink’d Beauty program provides financial assistance for wigs, scarves and caps, lymphedema products, radiation/skin care products, and post-mastectomy bras, camisoles and breast forms.
