The Visiting Nurse Association, in partnership with the Susan G. Komen® Great Plains, along with additional funding from Project Pink’d, provides financial assistance for Nebraska residents currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Financial assistance is available for day-to-day expenses, such as utilities, gas cards, one-time medical needs, or other essentials.
For Douglas and Sarpy County residents, companion non-medical care services are also available, providing support such as light housekeeping, meal preparation and other services.
VNA representatives will work one-on-one to determine what services will provide the greatest assistance in your recovery process. The VNA Breast Cancer Assistance Program is dedicated to providing services that enable you to prioritize your needs and determine which services or financial support will make the most difference in meeting those needs.
If you or a loved one need assistance, or for more information, contact Cindy Calhoun at 402.930.4118 or 800.456.8869 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
