Cancer strikes men and women of all ages. Because support, both physical and emotional, is paramount for individuals fighting this disease, a networking group called the Young Adult Survivors Community was formed. Cancer survivors between the ages of 18-45 – some currently in treatment or undergoing post-treatment– meet once a month to network, share ideas, socialize and empower each other. They meet at different locations throughout the Omaha area including the Methodist Eastbrook Cancer Center at 8303 Dodge Street.
